MOUSE TECHNIQUES
A mouse is an input device that is used for controlling the cursor on the computer monitor to point and select the object or give command on the computer screen. It is usually placed on the mouse pad.
Some of the mouse techniques are:
1. Click
2. Point
3. Double Click
4. Right Click
5. Left Click
6. Drag
1. Click: This is the action of pressing a mouse button (usually the left mouse button, if the mouse has two buttons) one or more times.
2. Point: indicate where the mouse pointer is located. They are usually arrows that point in the direction the mouse is moving.
3. Double Click: is the act of pressing a computer mouse button twice quickly without moving the mouse.
4. Right Click: This is typically used to provide additional information and/or properties of an item selected.
5. Left Click: This is the default button used to click, select, drag to highlight a word and/or object and used as a pointer.
6. Drag: To drag is to point to an object on the screen, hold down the left mouse button while moving the mouse (and the object) to a new location on the screen then release the mouse button.
