Objectives:

1. Define safety measures

2. State the common computer safety measure.

MEANING OF SAFETY MEASURE

Safety measures are measures that the users of computers need to take to enjoy the use of computers. These are  put in place to protect the users (you and I) while using the computer. It is also known as keeping computers from things that can render it useless.

COMMON SAFETY MEASURES

1. Good Sitting Posture
2. Use of Anti-glare Protector
3. Proper Positioning of Monitor 
4.  Illuminating the Computer Room
5. Maintaining a Dust-free Environment
6. Keep Liquid away from Computers
7. Good ventilation
8. Take frequent short breaks when performing repetitive tasks.
9. Shake your hands periodically when typing for a long periods of time
10. Blink your eyebrows to reduce dryness.
11. Use Ergonomic keyboard:  This is a computer keyboard designed with ergonomic considerations to minimize muscle strain, fatigue, and other problems.

CLASS ACTIVITIES
